Award winning documentary GASLAND is a movie everyone should be watching.
Monday Night Movies is launching on the Gold Coast with an extremely
powerful documentary by filmmaker Josh Fox. GasLand is highlighting the
surprising consequences of natural gas drilling,
Josh Fox's
film—inspired when the gas company came to his hometown—alleges chronic
illness, animal-killing toxic waste, disastrous explosions, and
regulatory missteps.
GasLand is a compelling and emotional
first-person story of discovery and, ultimately, empowerment. Josh
discovered that in the race for ‘cleaner’, greener & more efficient
energy sources, the largest natural gas drilling boom in history is
sweeping the globe, including Australia.
It becomes evident
that the multi-million dollar business of fracking has contaminated the
water supply, the corporate giants are in cover-up mode, and the PR-spun
government has not only turned a blind eye, it has regulated itself out
of the picture…
With a major gas drilling campaign happening
in AUSTRALIA right NOW, GasLand is more relevant than ever, exposing the
dangers beyond the official claims.

Unfortunately the government has now banned Black Salve in
Australia. Anyone supplying or selling it faces prosecution and severe
penalties. Their reason for this is clear to all thinking people: it
works. It eliminates skin cancers safely and cuts out some of the most
powerful organisations on Earth.
If you disagree with the banning of the salve and would like to have a say, feel free to sign the petition.
Black Salve can still be purchased overseas however, quality cannot be guaranteed and Australian Customs may refuse entry.
If you can't get it, you can make it yourself. Instructions are in
the ONE ANSWER TO CANCER DVD. Warning: Please be sure to follow the
instructions precisely. You can buy the ingredients here.
One Answer to Cancer
a film by Elaine Hollingsworth
The controversial documentary One Answer to Cancer has
already created a lot of attention, as it is exposing multinational
corporations and offering a safe and effective alternative to treating
cancer, which has been suppressed for many years.
A story about two cancer salves. One makes cancers worse, and can even
kill. Yet it is legal. The other has been curing cancer for 2000 years,
yet it is illegal, denounced by BIG PHARMA, BIG GOVERNMENT and BIG
MEDICINE. Why? So they can hang on to their obscene profits.
One Answer to Cancer is packed full of amazing testimonials by people
who have reclaimed their health. They have eliminated invasive breast
cancers, deadly Ewing's Sarcoma, terminal thyroid cancer, bowel cancer
and an array of skin cancers, even large melanomas. In their interviews
men and woman describe exactly how they used this natural salve, and
have even generously included startling before and after photos.
The film by Elaine Hollingsworth will show you how to make this
life-saving natural salve for yourself, so you can escape the sickness
industry.

Esoteric Agenda
A remarkable film by Ben and Dan Stewart exposes major information, which may seem unbelievable to most people.
There is an Esoteric Agenda behind every facet of life that was once believed to be disconnected.
There is an Elite faction guiding most every Political, Economic,
Social, Corporate, some Non-Governmental or even Anti-Establishment
Organizations.
This film uses the hard work and research of professionals in every
field helping to expose this agenda put the future of this planet back
into the hands of the people.
The more humanity strays from its’ origin, the more we deny our bond with nature, the farther from perfection we become.
We are the only creatures on the planet that use symbols in reference to
something else. This documentary shows that we use symbols for
absolutely everything the mind can conceive of. Because of this, words
can be perverted and used to manipulate rather than to inform. Symbols
can be used to segregate rather than unite.
Corporate America has become Corporate Earth as a few wealthy
families at the very top are compromising every nation’s sovereignty.
Education is manufactured to disguise the true history of the planet.
Media is manufactured to disguise the current events of the planet.
Sports and Entertainment distract and influence emotions with sacred and
subconscious geometry, symbolism, colour, and sound. All of these seem
to be disconnected and random occurrences from completely unrelated
sources. But this could not be farther from the truth. There are no
mistakes. There is nothing left to chance. There is an order and purpose
to all that exists. Everything on this planet has happened to set up
humanity for what is coming next.
The question remains: Will these events benefit or hurt mankind? The
truth of the matter is, there are many changes occurring within the
galaxy, our solar system, our planet Earth, and even within us. What if
there was an explanation for suffering, separation, status,
discrimination, hatred, War, poverty, fear, love, and every aspect of
our lives we dismiss as irrelevant or unexplainable as the work of a
separate and untouchable God figure.
This is arguably one of the most inspiring films you’ll ever see!

Fire Water: Australiaʼs Industrial Fluoridation Disgrace gives a voice
to those seldom heard – Australians who know the truth about mandatory
water fluoridation and refuse to remain silent.
Featuring researchers, politicians, activists, sufferers and health
practitioners, Fire Water follows the impacts and issues surrounding the
practice of adding industrial waste to public drinking water without
the informed consent of the people. People have been left without a
voice for decades.
Fire Water is the story of those who object to being poisoned; of
those experiencing negative health reactions to fluoride toxins; of
those who demand their individual right to informed consent; and of
those who demand accountability and scientific integrity from Australian
health authorities, water authorities and governments.
This is a hard-hitting film that exposes the fraud of mandatory
water fluoridation, perpetrated on the Australian people. Fire Water
proves once and for all that toxic industrial waste is being used to
forcibly 'fluoridate' Australia's drinking water supplies. People and
communities across the nation are resisting forced medication, as they
learn the shocking truth of fluoridation.
One thing is for certain: If you are unaware of the fluoridation
fraud, after watching Fire Water, you will never look at your glass of
tap water the same way, ever again.
Fire Water is a collation of a wide variety of Australian
perspectives on water fluoridation. From politicians, to doctors, to
sufferers, this film goes to the heart of the issues – the chemicals,
the ethics, the science and the lack of accountability of poisoners. A
'must see' film if you care about your health, the health of the
environment and the future well being of your children and
grandchildren.

This movie details the unintentional adventures of a biologist when
his nature documentary comes up against big money and corrupt
bureaucrats.
For filmmaker Rob Stewart, exploring sharks began as an underwater
adventure. What it turned into was a beautiful and dangerous life
journey into the balance of life on earth.
Driven by passion fed from a life-long fascination with sharks,
Stewart debunks historical stereotypes and media depictions of sharks as
bloodthirsty, man-eating monsters and reveals the reality of sharks as
pillars in the evolution of the seas. Filmed in visually stunning, high
definition video,
Sharkwater takes you into the most shark rich waters of the world,
exposing the exploitation and corruption surrounding the world's shark
populations in the marine reserves of Cocos Island, Costa Rica and the
Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.
In an effort to protect sharks, Stewart teams up with renegade
conservationist Paul Watson of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
Their unbelievable adventure together starts with a battle between the
Sea Shepherd and shark poachers in Guatemala, resulting in pirate boat
rammings, gunboat chases, mafia espionage, corrupt court systems and
attempted murder charges, forcing them to flee for their lives. Through
it all, Stewart discovers these magnificent creatures have gone from
predator to prey, and how despite surviving the earth's history of mass
extinctions, they could easily be wiped out within a few years due to
human greed.
Stewart's remarkable journey of courage and determination changes
from a mission to save the world's sharks, into a fight for his life,
and that of humankind.

Gandhi
GANDHI is a remarkable experience, a sweeping and breathtaking epic.
It is the sort of rare epic film that spans the decades, that uses the
proverbial cast of thousands, and yet follows a human thread from
beginning to end: GANDHI is no more overwhelmed by the scope of its
production than was Gandhi overwhelmed by all the glory of the British
Empire.
Gandhi was not a ruler of nations, nor did he have scientific gifts.
Yet this small modest man did what others before him could not. He led
an entire country to freedom - he gave his people hope.
Gandhi is nonviolent but firm. He is sure where the right lies in
every situation, and he will uphold it in total disregard for the
possible consequences to himself.
He realises that Indians have been made into second-class citizens
in their own country, and he begins a program of civil disobedience that
is at first ignored by the British, then scorned, and finally,
reluctantly, dealt with, sometimes by subterfuge, sometimes by
brutality.
Through it all, Gandhi maintains a certain detachment; he is
convinced he is right, convinced that violence is not an answer,
convinced that sheer moral example can free his nation as it did.
His goal was freedom. His strategy was peace. His weapon was humanity.
His movement did indeed liberate India, in one of the greatest
political and economic victories of all time, achieved through
nonviolent principles.
It reminds us that we are, after all, human, and thus capable of the
most extraordinary and wonderful achievements, simply through the use
of our imagination, our will, and our sense of right.
One of the most inspiring films in history.

Our Generation
Our Generation is a documentary feature looking at the complex issue of
indigenous rights in Australia. It offers an insight into years of
neglect, ignorance and stereotyping, but it also offers the hope that
things could change.
An informative and affecting film without getting bogged down in
emotion, it serves as a conduit through which the argument for
indigenous rights is presented.
The plight of the Aborigine of Australia has been an issue since the
colonial flag was first hoisted on Botany Bay. While other colonised
indigenous people were at least recognised by treaties with their new
governors, no such document was signed on the Bay. The problem of
recognition has stayed with the Aborigine ever since.
Many of the civil rights leaders interviewed in the film have been
bearing the torch of indigenous rights for years. Our Generation is very
much a call to a new generation of Australians, Aborigine or
city-dwelling white suburbanite, to relight the torch and carry it
forward.
The testimony of the Yolngu is significant for the film, as hey are
seen by other Aboriginal groups in Australia as the community that has
managed to retain most of its culture, traditions and land.
Crucially, the community did not cede control of its lands to
settlers and managed to retain sovereignty – the issue and importance of
which runs throughout the film.
The film encourages to unite First People communities into one voice and to provide a platform for education and action.
Facing up to such a subject may stir up emotions long buried or uncover old resentment, guilt or even shame.
One of the main demands of this documentary is the need for greater
integration of the traditional Aborigine culture with the western idea
of permanent, city-dwelling society.
Now the examination of what went wrong and, more importantly, how best to move forward should be the focus.

Travelling Birds
Travelling Birds is no David Attenborough insight into the behaviour of
fauna, it's a visual feast of feathers and locations, from the Arctic to
the deserts of Africa, from Mont St. Michel to Monument Valley. This
bird's eye view is a mesmerising and totally fascinating experience.
Marvellous photography enhances this stirring nature film about the
tenacity of birds of all sorts as they take off on long voyages of
migration. A a toss-up as to which is the biggest star of Travelling
Birds - the 150 species of birds or the jaw-dropping camerawork that
captures them on film.
The wow factor of Travelling Birds comes from the cinematography, which
warrants superlatives. The audience is treated to a smooth series of
birds in flight, soaring, thrusting, beating their way above snow and
glaciers, patchwork fields, churning oceans, stark cities and yellow
grassy plains, in a desperate bid to make it through another season.
It's such an extraordinary feeling flying alongside the birds with
the earth and its distinctive features, monuments and cities clearly
defined below that you get the eerie feeling that this is just another
computer-generated trick.
The filmmakers have shot close-ups of snow geese, Japanese cranes,
condors, albatross, swans and other feathery flotillas completing their
semi-annual migrations across the globe.
Watching this film woos you into a slower breathing rhythm. You leave feeling "chilled out" and "at one with the world".

Kymatica
Kymatica is the most profound and insightful piece of art to
explore the root cause of all corruption, deceit, evil, and war in our
world since the dawn of man. This film exposes the most esoteric and
suppressed information about our history, anatomy, and spirituality.
Ben Stewart uncovers the egoistic agenda of political and religious
institutions and how they purposely distort the true meaning of
spirituality and governance. With the help of Dr. Bruce Lipton, Ben
gives the only true way to defeat a corrupt world government and to
initiate the only true revolution. Kymatica uses the world's leading
scientific research and matches it with the teachings of the mystery
schools and Jungian psychology. This is the most thorough synthesis of
every aspect of human existence and is a very powerful tool for humanity
to end hatred, hunger, segregation and war once and for all.
KYMATICA talks about Human & Universal Consciousness & the
correlation between all of it. It tells you how the Earth is an Organism
in itself, and how the Universe is one too. Among other topics that’ll
blow your mind, it talks about the Suppression of Human intent, and the
gradual steps that have made us into a global society that lives in
stress & fear. The Age of Fear, as our time has been called, is a
fruit of our irresponsibility towards facing any insight, any reflection
into our own selves.
There are some things that come your way, and change your Life
forever. KYMATICA, by Benjamin & Daniel Stewart, is one of them.

If A Tree Falls
IF A TREE FALLS tells the story
of the rise of the Earth Liberation Front in the Pacific Northwest, in
the late nineties and early aughts. In particular, it focuses on Daniel
McGowan, a young New Yorker who gets introduced to radical politics,
travels to Oregon, and becomes a leading figure in the now-infamous
ELF--and is eventually tried and convicted as a terrorist
Do crimes against property in which no one is killed or injured
constitute acts of terrorism? That is one of two nagging questions that
run through Marshall Curry and Sam Cullman’s thoughtful documentary "If a
Tree Falls". The other has to do with the efficacy of traditional forms
of peaceful protest.
These are moral questions that any serious environmentalist has
asked himself at one time or another: As the world's natural resources
and habitats are consumed around us, how far should we go to stop it? If
a corporation won't take no for an answer, and is dead set on
deforesting pristine countryside or fracking near your home or
detonating the mountains you live on for coal, is anything more than
peaceful, legal recourse justified?
McGowan's story is never sensationalised, and the filmmakers allow
us to see the activist for who he is: a soft-spoken, impassioned
environmentalist who harbours a deep concern for the natural world.
Perhaps more importantly, we're offered a step-by-step look at how
non-peaceful radicalism is bred: The filmmakers have the good sense to
back the story up well before the founding of the ELF, when the eventual
members were all involved in peaceful protests that were broken up,
sometimes brutally, by authorities.
People object to corporate or government action, and carry out
creative, peaceful protests. But instead of getting a forum, they're not
only denied and repudiated, but humiliated by the authorities in the
process. And then they fail; all that was for nothing. The trees still
fell.
So what do you do? Well, the vast majority of us keep fighting
peacefully. But the ten or so folks that formed the ELF, borne out of
those frustrating failures, started a campaign of property destruction
that captured headlines around the nation.
The film itself has been praised for taking such an even-keeled
tone. In a brand new era of protest politics, and the rise of the Occupy
movement capturing the nation's imagination, IF A TREE FALLS should be
required viewing.

What the Bleep do we Know
A great movie, WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW is reality-shattering, uncategorizable, powerful and mind bending.
It is a documentary interviewing 14 of the most thought-provoking
scientists, academics and mystics of our time. It is a narrative
feature-film, an animated exploration of the science of our inner beings
with giggling, evil, sexy, jiggling amoeba-like cells that, unbeknownst
to us, run our lives. It’s a romantic comedy, a drama, and a
scientific treatise.
The film shows us that before we look at a piece of matter, it
actually exists in more than one place at the same time, and it is our
act of looking that fixes the matter and makes it a real and solid thing
in time and space.
“What The Bleep” continues on to take us into the cosmos, the brain
and the smallest cells in the body, with the help of some pretty amazing
animation.
But the real beauty of this film is that the brilliant minds
interviewed throughout (a who's-who of quantum physicists, biologists,
neurologists and modern day mystics) are willing to talk about how this
incredibly scientific quantum information affects our daily lives, and,
if you haven’t figured it out already, our spirituality.
Amanda, the main character in the movie, is our example of the
average miserable human, bumbling through an uncharted life of bad
behaviour, confusing decisions and miserable relationships, until this
day when she learns the potential of the human mind and body to be a
conscious part of creating a life worth living.
You learn, you laugh, you feel compassion and intrigue, and most of
all you feel inspired by your own potential by the end of the film. It
is truly a life-changing experience.

Growing Change
Growing Change is a documentary that looks at one of the most
exciting experiments in the world to grow a fair and sustainable food
system.
In Venezuela, from fishing villages to cacao plantations to urban
gardens, a growing social movement is showing what's possible when
communities, not corporations, start to take control of food.
The documentary begins with an investigation of the 2008 global
food crisis, looking at the long-term underlying causes. Will expanding
large-scale, energy-intensive agriculture, be the solution or re
problems? If we already produce enough food to feed the world why do so
many people go hungry?
Growing Change follows the filmmaker's journey to understand why
current food systems leave hundreds of millions of people in hunger.
It's a journey to understand how the world will feed itself in the
future in the face of major environmental challenges.
Part of a country-wide process towards "food sovereignty", driven
by communities and the government. At the core of the process are
principles of social justice and sustainability.
It's an inspirational story full of lively characters, thought
provoking insights, stunning scenery and ideas to transform the food
system.

Maude Barlow - author "Blue Gold"
Mainstream Media pushes malicious fluoride lie: Fluoride-free bottled water is harming children, they claim!
....What you are seeing in a push for fluoride in bottled water is a desperate attempt by globalist controlled to make sure that people cannot avoid the mind-numbing effects of fluoride....
Water is the very essence of life, sustaining every being on the planet. 'Flow' confronts the disturbing reality that our crucial resource is dwindling and greed just may be the cause.
Irena Salinas' documentary is about the global crisis we face as Earth's
fresh water supply constantly diminishes. The film presents top experts
and advocates to show us that every aspect of human life is effected by
pollution, wastefulness, privatization and corporate greed as it
relates to a natural resource that's more valuable than oil. The film
shows in no uncertain terms that if we continue to abuse our water
supply, Earth will become uninhabitable and humankind will become
extinct.
We are then reminded that water is essential for human life and
well-being, and we are informed that millions of people--babies, in
particular--die from lack of fresh water every year.
Salina explores how the corporate structure has come to control
humanity's water supply, creating a dire situation that experts have
come to refer to as the World Water Crisis.
The investigation points fingers at water companies such as Nestle,
Vivendi, Thames, Suez, Coca Cola and Pepsi and takes a look at how
grassroots organisations work to fight the increasing privatization of
water, hoping to end the imbalance in access to the precious resource
that has already had mortal consequences for so many.
Director Irena Salinas takes us on a worldwide tour of
water-related disasters, every one of them the product of human
abuse--pollution, privatization and corporate greed, inexcusable
wastefulness and, to put it in terms that are simplistic but true, lack
of respect for mother nature’s grand design.

The Earth plus 5%
The sole purpose of this story is to explain the simple maths of
reality and the current Banking System – that is – 100 plus NOTHING does
NOT equal 105 – and that charging interest on something that is created
out of nothing, makes it impossible to repay, giving great power to
those who do create money out of nothing – ie the Banks. This story was
written by Larry Hannigan in 1971 and uses a fictional character
(Fabian) in the narrative.
Money is NOT a commodity, it is a system of debit-credit bookkeeping
– nothing more. Banks create credit. It is a mistake to suppose that
bank credit is created to any extent by the payment of money into the
banks. A loan made by a bank is a clear addition to the amount of money
in the community.
The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks.
None of our problems will disappear until we correct the creation,
supply and circulation of money. Once the money problem is solved,
everything else will fall into place.

The Disappearing Male
The Disappearing Male is about one of the most important, and least
publicised, issues facing the human species: the toxic threat to the
male reproductive system.
The last few decades have seen steady and dramatic increases in the
incidence of boys and young men suffering from genital deformities, low
sperm count, sperm abnormalities and testicular cancer.
At the same time, boys are now far more at risk of suffering from
ADHD, autism, Tourette's syndrome, cerebral palsy, and dyslexia.
The Disappearing Male takes a close and disturbing look at what many
doctors and researchers now suspect are responsible for many of these
problems: a class of common chemicals that are ubiquitous in our world.
Found in everything from shampoo, sunglasses, meat and dairy
products, carpet, cosmetics and baby bottles, they are called "hormone
mimicking" or "endocrine disrupting" chemicals and they may be starting
to damage the most basic building blocks of human development.
Observe nature and it is evident that the problem stretches further
than just the human development and is equally affecting animal life.

The Revelation of the Pyramids
The Revelation Of The Pyramids
takes an in depth look into one of the seven wonders of the world, the
Great Pyramids of Egypt. Mystery has surrounded these epic structures
for centuries with theories varying from the scientific to the bizarre.
However with over thirty-seven years of in depth research taking in
sites from China, Peru, Mexico and Egypt, one scientist has as at last
managed first to understand and then to reveal what lies behind this
greatest of archaeological mysteries: a message of paramount importance
for all mankind, through time and space.
If you were to draw a circle around
the Great pyramids outside base and then one on the inside, then
subtract the smaller circles length from the larger circles length you
would get a figure that corresponds to the speed of light. One of the
many revealing things from this documentary.
Precision engineering which even modern professionals would have
trouble with today and still the mainstream Egyptologists and experts
ignore the evidence, merely citing it all as coincidence.
Who built them, when, why and for what purpose? This documentary is one of the most revealing on the subject.

Simply Raw
This uplifting independent documentary film chronicles six Americans,
who have diabetes (2 have diabetes type 1 and 4 have diabetes type 2)
and have decided to participate in a diabetes reversing challenge.
Switching to a diet consisting entirely of vegan, organic, uncooked food
in order to reverse disease without pharmaceutical medication, the six
are challenged to give up meat, dairy, sugar, alcohol, nicotine,
caffeine, soda, junk food, fast food, processed food, packaged food, and
even cooked food for 30 days.
The film follows each participant's remarkable journey and captures the
medical, physical, and emotional transformations brought on by this
radical diet and lifestyle change. We witness moments of struggle,
support, and hope as what is revealed, with startling clarity, is that
diet can reverse disease and change lives.
Amidst the 6 patient case studies, it features interviews with some of
the most respected, world renowned and leading health experts, as well
as other personalities with experience in the raw lifestyle.
Simply Raw highlights each of the six people before they begin the
program and we first meet them in their home environment with their
families. Each participant speaks candidly about their struggle to
manage their diabetes and how it has affected every aspect of their
life, from work to home to their relationships.
"Reality" media at it's best, it is incredibly inspiring to watch
these people lose weight, lower their blood sugar levels naturally and
make some great friendships while learning that you don't need to be at
the mercy of insulin for the rest of your life.
The purpose of the movie is to show people of all walks of life that
diabetes is not a death sentence. On the contrary diabetes is reversible
– the secret simply lies in what support we give our body through the
foods we eat, not the drugs we take.
The American Diabetic Association states that “diabetes is a chronic
disease that has no cure”, but the participants of Simply Raw clearly
show otherwise.

The End of the Line
WHEN you snap the tuna tin open, have you ever wondered if the ocean will run out of fish?
Filmmaker Rupert Murray offers an in-depth look at the crisis in the
world's oceans in the documentary End of the Line, in which experts
discuss some of the key factors behind the looming shortage -- increased
demand for endangered species, irresponsible methods employed by major
fishing lines, lax enforcement of current regulations -- and what can be
done to head off the famine before it's too late.
The End of the Line documentary casts the question 'are our oceans
being overfished' and answers it with brutal and frightening clarity -
start imagining a world without seafood.
At current rates, the ocean's stocks will be depleted by the middle of the century, the film reveals.
Touted the inconvenient truth on the ocean, this little-known,
barely-screened documentary presents hard evidence and marine experts in
a neatly wrapped take-home message for every shopper.
Smart, industrial and high-tech “fishing” of the ocean by big corporations and rich hunters is exposed in all its bloody glory.
This is a hard-hitting film dressed in graphic images and powerful,
unarguable statistics already being felt by poor coastal communities
working inside a self-destructing industry.
“Man is at war with the ocean and is winning,” says French-born marine-biologist Daniel Pauly.
The film travels to China, Gibraltar, Malta, Senegal and Japan to
reveal corporate iniquities and local disparities caused by overfishing.
There is some impressive fishy footage, in the water and out of it, at
upmarket restaurants such as Nobu.
It urges for a global reduction of fishing to prevent the industry
from collapsing to a point where it is no longer viable or profitable.
It also points the finger at democracy for not making the political changes that it must.
This is a documentary that will change the way you think about seafood and give you the power of knowledge to make a change.

V For Vendetta
‘Remember, remember the fifth of November’.....the opening line of V for Vendetta.
Sure to rile up those who don’t believe films should delve into
politics, V for Vendetta is an explosive, timely political thriller that
presents an ideology sure to provoke thoughtful conversation from an
audience not normally fed such high-caliber intellectual fare.
V for Vendetta tells the tale of a near future England run by an
oppressive government and a man, known only as V, who sets out to
destroy it.
He’s a terrorist, but he’s not terrorising the people. Instead, his
goal is to awaken and empower them, while striking fear in the heart of
England’s totalitarian government. “If you want to see who is
responsible, look no further than a mirror,” he tells the country’s
citizens. “I understand, you were afraid,” he says by way of forgiving
them. It’s the people who put Britain’s corrupt, hate-driven government
in power, and it’s the people who must stop it. “People should not be
afraid of their governments,” pronounces V, “governments should be
afraid of their people.”
Terrorism, homosexuality, religious freedom, the right to free
speech…There’s a virtual cornucopia of hot button topics addressed in V
for Vendetta, being the same political paradoxes that have been plaguing
man for centuries.
V for Vendetta is rebellious and risky, subversive and dangerous.
But it’s not cynical. V’s naïve take on the world is one that believes
in the basic strength and goodness of people as strongly as it believes
in the intrinsic corruptness of big government.
It’s not a call to rise up against your rulers, but a warning about
the way fear can be used to give a person or organisation too much
power. It’s an old lesson, but one that bears frequent repeating.
Ultimately it’s about knowing who you are and what you stand for.
There are people who are going to hate this movie; people who don’t
like to think, the brain dead, the fools. It’s a purposefully
uncomfortable film, one that will affect different people differently
depending on what you bring in with you.
V for Vendetta is refreshingly original and stunningly effective.
See it and then prepare to talk about the film for days on end. It’ll
stick with you after you leave the theatre.

The Beautiful Truth
“The Beautiful Truth,” a documentary about contemporary health hazards
and alternative treatments, has been made in the hopes of appealing to
children.
The documentary from filmmaker Steve Kroschel structures this film
around a bright-eyed, home-schooled 15-year-old named Garrett, studying a
controversial book written by Dr. Max Gerson, a physician who claims to
have discovered a diet that's capable of curing cancer, as his first
home-schooling assignment.
Garrett is a boy who has always been close to nature. He lives on a
reserve with a menagerie of orphaned animals, and over the years he's
become especially sensitive to the nutritional needs of the
diet-sensitive animals he's charged with caring for.
Attempting to cope with the recent death of his mother, Garret sets
out to investigate the evils of the medical-industrial complex. Thus
ensue lectures on genetically modified foods, water fluoridation,
demonstrations of toxic fumes leaking from mercury-laced fillings and
paeans to the benefit of frequent coffee enemas.
This last item is part of the Gerson therapy, a strict dietary
regimen of organic produce and fresh juice proposed as the miracle cure
for a number of chronic diseases by the German doctor Max Gerson.
Discredited by the medical establishment but passionately defended by
its followers, who claim it can cure cancer, the Gerson therapy is based
on fundamental principles of letting your food be your medicine.
Is Dr. Gerson's therapy truly the legitimate, alternative cure it appears to be?
In order to find out the truth behind this long-suppressed
treatment, Garrett interviews not only Dr. Gerson's family members, but
various doctors, skeptics, and cancer patients as well. His studies
completed and his findings revelatory, Garrett now sets out to tell the
entire world about The Gerson Miracle.
Garrett quest includes research into all the nefarious ways in
which the billion-dollar medical/agricultural/pharmaceutical complex,
with the full complicity of the American Medical Assn., creates
dependencies on costly but ineffective treatments while additives
adulterate America's food and water supplies.
He meets with scientists, doctors and cancer survivors who reveal
how it is in the best interest of the multi-billion dollar medical
industry to dismiss the notion of alternative and natural cures. This
documentary reveals a simple truth to healing ourselves.

Nostradamus: 2012
In 2012, a rare and possibly
Earth-shattering astrological alignment is due to occur that will
precipitate a cataclysmic event. Whatever is in store — a massive cosmic
collision, a global environmental disaster, an Armageddon-like
religious showdown, or a more subtle transformation — there have been
multiple predictions from different times and cultures that December 21,
2012 will mark a major shift in the history of our planet.
NOSTRADAMUS: 2012 takes a detailed investigation of this chilling prophecy.
Predictions made by the world's most infamous prophet have an
uncanny accuracy which lends a rather chilling credence to the whole
'it's gonna end in 2012' prediction. But how much of what his man
predicted really came true, and how much of it has been made to look
true by misinterpretation, coincidence and circumstance is really
anyone's guess.
One thing that continually plagues the interesting documentary,
however, is that his predictions are pretty much always seen as accurate
in hindsight. Had he accurately predicted the rise of Hitler or the
September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings then
obviously steps could have been taken to prevent such occurrences from
ever actually becoming manifest. So while it's all well and good for the
various interviewees, authors and religious experts to go on about how
much weight Nostradamus' words carry, if history teaches us anything,
it's that we won't really know what he's talking about until after the
fact - at which point it will be too late.
From the mystical realms of the Guatemalan jungles to the high-tech
corridors of NASA; from the Hopi elders and Mayan shaman to the most
respected thinkers of the modern age; from the symbology of the ancient
pyramids in Mexico and Egypt to that of the gothic cathedrals and
monuments of Europe — the 2012 doomsday warning will be cast in a
frighteningly modern context. December 21, 2012 is bearing down on us
with alarming speed – and whether or not we are able to collectively
heed the warnings and affect a course to avert disaster may be the
defining moment of the modern age.

The Horse Boy
When his son
Rowan was diagnosed with autism, Rupert Isaacson was devastated, afraid
he might never be able to communicate with his child. Experiencing long
periods of withdrawal and sudden bursts of rage that no form of therapy
seemed to ease and in a desperate search for help, the family takes some
very unusual steps to heal their son. They find a band of shamans in
Mongolia claiming to be able to heal autism. And so a journey began in
which the family would travel across the country on horseback to meet
the holy men who might be able to help the child.
From the wild open Steppe to the Sacred Lake Sharga and deep into
Siberia, they are tested to their limits individually, and as a family.
The film includes interviews with some of the foremost experts in the
field of autism.
Their opinions provide unique insight into one of the most
misunderstood, yet rapidly increasing conditions in the world. One in
150 births suffer from some form of autism, it is the fastest-growing
developmental disability globally and associated care costs are on the
rise.
The Horse Boy is part travel adventure, part insight into shamanic
tradition and part intimate look at the autistic mind. It is the
remarkable story of Rowan Isaacson - a severely autistic child who
begins to find solace through a special bond that he forms with horses.
Rowan's parents take him to Mongolia, where horse-riding originated, and
where shamanism healing at its most raw and direct is widespread.
This is a deeply moving, truly one-of-a-kind story--of a family
willing to go to the ends of the earth to help their son, and of a boy
learning to connect with the world for the first time.

WATER POISENED, CHEMTRAILS, CSG, in Australia.
Is it safe?
What in the World are they Spraying
What
In The World Are They Spraying? is an investigation into all aspects of
the phenomenon of chemtrails. Over the past decade and more, long white
trails emanating from jet planes have been seen lingering in the skies
all over the planet, often expanding and merging to form vast swathes of
artificial cloud cover. By now everyone has seen crisscrossing streaks
of white clouds trailing behind jet aircraft, stretching from horizon to
horizon, eventually turning the sky into a murky haze.
These trails are clearly not water vapour contrails, which evaporate
after several minutes. They remain overhead for long extended periods of
time, often culminating in strange grid like formations. Now they have
people asking some serious questions.
What are these trails, who is spraying them into our atmosphere and for what purpose?
What would you say if you were told that airplanes were regularly
spraying toxic aerosols in the skies above every major region of the
world, without our consent?
This film, produced by G. Edward Griffin, Michael Murphy and Paul
Wittenberger sets out to answer those questions and discovers some
disturbing answers. Here is the story of a rapidly developing industry
called geo-engineering, driven by scientists, corporations, and
governments intent on changing global climate, controlling the weather,
and altering the chemical composition of soil and water - all supposedly
for the betterment of mankind.
Although officials insist that these programs are only in the
discussion phase, evidence is abundant that massive aerosol operations
have been underway since about 1990. Playing God with the atmosphere may
have severe consequences, particularly given that the compounds these
scientists are testing are known to cause debilitating health problems
and could lead to massive droughts and famines.
It is hard to believe that the strange white lines in the skies
witnessed around the world and the toxic elements found in the soil,
water and air are from an unrelated source. It is imperative that we
become educated and involved in uncovering the truth of this alleged
crime against both nature and humanity. The effect is devastating to
crops, wildlife, and human health and the future of our planet depends
on it.
Given all the immediate dangers associated with bombarding the
atmosphere with sulphur dioxide, along with the unknown dangers of other
geo-engineering projects, many people are concerned that “chemtrails”
are a secret component of the same agenda to alter the Earth’s
eco-system, inoculate humans against certain pathogens, or even to
toxify humans as part of a population reduction agenda.

The Core
Consider the Earth's electromagnetic field and it's place in the universe. How fragile is our existence?
The Core looks at the importance of the Earth's magnetic field and
the devastating effect an imbalance may have on the planet's existence
and all life on it. Presented in a futuristic adventure thriller, a team
of top scientific minds from around the globe is assembled to determine
what has thrown the world into a frenzy of inexplicable phenomena.
Attacks by enormous swarms of birds in London, the explosion of the
Colosseum in Rome, a potentially deadly malfunction which forces the
Space Shuttle into a Los Angeles riverbed, and the simultaneous deaths
of 32 people with pacemakers in Boston. It is discovered that the
Earth's electromagnetic forces have begun to collapse, thanks to a
sudden lack of movement of the molten ore at the center of the Earth. If
the planet is to be saved, the core of the Earth needs a jump start.
The crew embark on their mission and on the way, find out that man is the cause of the Earth's unexpected shutdown.

HOT TOPIC comments & information
Bimblebox
Australia's Bimblebox Nature Refuge lies in the path of the earths
largest coal mines. One woman decides to resist the "China First"
project. The film follows the story of Alpha resident Paola Cassoni and
her two-year fight to prevent the 8000ha Bimblebox Nature Refuge - which
she co-owns - from being swallowed by Clive Palmer's proposed China
First coal mine.
Directed by US-based filmmaker Michael O'Connell, the movie placed
Ms Cassoni's story in the wider context of massive coal and coal
seam-gas expansion in Australia and its impacts on farm land,
communities and the environment.
At this critical time, when so much coal and coal seam gas expansion
is planned in Australia, this film aims to win the hearts and minds of
the people, exposing the destructiveness of this industry to our
climate, communities and environment. It tells the stories of the people
fighting for their homes and culture. Australia is the worlds largest
exporter of coal, providing almost one third of the worlds supply. It is
impossible to address climate change without looking at Australia’s
role in the planets climate future.
Dramatic footage is shown of the encroachment of mining onto
agricultural land, and interviews with Hunter Valley, Illawarra, Bowen
Basin and Darling Downs residents illuminate the social, economic,
environmental and health impacts of mining in those regions.
It is a must see film if you care about our land and the future of our children.

Vanishing of the Bees
Honeybees have been mysteriously disappearing across the planet, literally vanishing from their hives.
Known as Colony Collapse Disorder, this phenomenon has brought
beekeepers to crisis. Filming across the US, in Europe, Australia and
Asia, this documentary examines the alarming disappearance of honeybees
and the greater meaning it holds about the relationship between mankind
and mother earth. As scientists puzzle over the cause, organic
beekeepers indicate alternative reasons for this tragic loss.
Put simply, the honey bees are vanishing and the implications are
awful. Without bees doing their pollination work, vegetables and
foodstuffs will disappear.
Taking a piercing investigative look at the economic, political and
ecological implications of the worldwide disappearance of the honeybee,
the film examines our current agricultural landscape and celebrates the
ancient and sacred connection between man and the honeybee. To empower
the audience, the documentary provides viewers with tangible solutions
they can apply to their everyday lives. Vanishing of the Bees unfolds as
a dramatic tale of science and mystery, illuminating this extraordinary
crisis and its greater meaning about the relationship between humankind
and Mother Earth. The bees have a message - but will we listen?

Pay it Forward
A young boy stumbles upon a simple way to change the world in this
drama. Trevor is a bright 11-year-old boy who comes from a troubled home
and begins seventh grade in Las Vegas, where his social studies teacher
gives the class an assignment to devise and put into action a plan that
will change the world for the better.
Trevor's plan is a charitable program based on the networking of
good deeds. He calls his plan "Pay It Forward", which means the
recipient of a favour does a favour for three others rather than paying
the favour back. However, it needs to be a major favour that the
receiver can't complete themselves.
Meanwhile, journalist Chris Chandler finds himself stuck on the road
without a car late one night when a man stops and give him the keys to a
new car, asking him only to pay the favour forward to someone else;
astonished, Chris wants to find out where this philosophy came from.
Chandler finally identifies Trevor as the originator of "pay it
forward" and conducts a recorded interview in which Trevor describes his
hopes and concerns for the project. Soon it becomes evident that
hundreds of people have participated in the "pay it forward" movement.

Earthlings - Make the Connection
Using hidden cameras and never-before-seen footage, EARTHLINGS
chronicles the day-to-day practices of the largest industries in the
world, all of which rely entirely on animals for profit.
A ground breaking documentary that is perhaps one of the most vital
movies any human on this planet should watch today. It is a movie that
examines the 5 major areas of our dependence on animals – pets, food,
clothing, entertainment and research.
It is one film that is perhaps the hardest to watch, and at the same
time, it is the one that needs to be watched the most – by everyone.
Yes this movie is going to make you cringe at times and evoke some
serious emotion, but that is not a good enough reason not to see it. In
fact, we need to get back into feeling deeper today, as our world has
turned too many of us into programmed, emotionless robots. Yes it is
inconvenient to find this out. Yes it is going to make you rethink your
ways, and yes it may lead you to make some major changes in your life,
but that is what evolution of the human being and spirit is all about.
Earthlings shines light on some topics that have been forgotten. The
purpose of this documentary is not to scare people into becoming
vegans, but to make people aware of how animals are being treated.
How much longer are we going to pretend that this doesn’t exist, or
that it does not happen, or that it doesn’t impact us personally?
In summary, Earthlings is a movie that is gaining momentum, as
humanity is called to evolve and find a new and more loving and
sustainable way of existing. It acknowledges its purpose, in that it is
demonstrating how animals have come to serve humankind.
Ignorance has gotten us to a point today in history where chronic
diseases are raging. People cry over the family member they lose or over
their own pain and suffering, but so few are making the connection.
Our environment is in a state of crisis. Our waters are heavily
polluted, as is our air and soils, while microorganisms are going all
out of control of their symbiotic balance with us. Yet again, so few are
making the connection.
In conclusion, this movie is not trying to make you feel “bad” or
“sad” or pointing any fingers. It is simply saying “WAKE UP AND MAKE THE
CONNECTION“.
It is not too late to change the way we treat our fellow earthlings,
change the way we treat each other and change the way we treat the
planet.

Hungry For Change
Hungry For Change exposes shocking secrets the diet, weightloss and
food industry don’t want you to know about. Deceptive strategies
designed to keep you craving more and more. Needless to say, if you are
battling weight issues this film is a MUST see.
The documentary portrays the message of beauty comes from the inside
out, meaning if you take care of your body on the inside, it will
reflect and shine for you on the outside.
The film looks at why we eat what we eat and what the ‘food’ makers
are selling us. We are no longer eating food but eating food like
products. If you stop for a moment and think about what comes in a box
these days, the ingredients list is a mile long with words that belong
in a chemistry lab, and that is because that is where the food was
concocted.
Hungry for Change will bring you up to speed on toxic chemicals and
food additives like MSG, Aspartame, and refined processed white sugar,
with the negative health implications they can cause.
Sugar, of course, takes an expected (and warranted) beating by the
experts. The individuals featured in this film go after the companies
pushing sugar and high fructose corn syrup without reserve. Mocking the
words “fine in moderation,” they point out that companies like General
Mills put sugar in everything from cereal to pasta sauce. “There is
nothing moderate about it.”
And finally, this film goes where no other food documentary has gone
before. It suggests boldly and confidently that these large food
corporations have not tampered with our food unknowingly. They are not
just a bunch of well-intentioned cookie-makers who are simply trying to
produce tasty food. Rather, they are spending hundreds of millions of
dollars every year to fund scientific studies and marketing campaigns,
which are intentionally misleading.
We all want more energy, an ideal body and beautiful younger looking skin. So what is stopping us from getting this?
Find out what's keeping you from having the body and health you
deserve and how to escape the diet trap forever. Help yourself to get
rid of toxins and chemicals, no one else will look after you!

Bag It
Bag It, a multiple award winning film, is a must see for all ages. We
are living in the age of plastic and 'Bag it' asks the question, 'Is
your life too plastic?'
Try going a day without plastic. Plastic is everywhere and
infiltrates our lives in unimaginable and frightening ways. In this
touching and often flat-out-funny film, we follow "everyman" Jeb
Berrier, who is admittedly not a tree hugger, as he embarks on a global
tour to unravel the complexities of our plastic world. What starts as a
film about plastic bags evolves into a wholesale investigation into
plastic and its effect on our waterways, oceans, and even our own
bodies. We see how our crazy-for-plastic world has finally caught up to
us and what we can do about it. Today. Right now.
A key point is that plastic is too often manufactured for a single
use, taking home groceries and then throwing the bag away. Or drinking
the water then tossing the bottle in the bin. Simply calling attention
to this notion is an eye-opener.
The film makers follow it up with how hard to recycle plastics are.
Sure, everyone knows that plastics go in the recycle bin, but those
numbers in the triangles are important, and some plastics are more
recyclable than others. A lot of what gets put into the bin can’t be
recycled and ends up as trash. That’s something most of us don’t think
about when we recycle.
Then there’s the idea that plastic doesn’t decompose. A lot of it
ends up in the great pacific garbage gyre, where Albatrosses from Midway
island swallow plastic bottle caps and are being killed.
Bag It makes a lasting impression, exposing the effects of plastic on ourselves and our environment.
